Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 9, 2026 (Updated May 10, 2026)  ·  TAP AND PRINT LLC  ·  Town and Country, Missouri
The short version: Tap & Print lets you order prints from participating retailers or have them mailed by a fulfillment partner (Fujifilm). We briefly store the photos you choose to print while we prepare your order, then delete them automatically — typically within 24 hours of successful pickup or mail-order handoff, and always within 90 days regardless. We never store payment card information — the retailer (for pickup) or Fujifilm (for mail) handles payment directly at checkout. For pickup orders we collect your name, phone, and email; for mail orders Fujifilm collects your shipping address and payment information directly through their checkout, and we never see those. We do not sell your data, we do not build profiles, and we do not require a user account.
We don't want your personal data.

We built Tap & Print specifically so we don't have to collect it. No accounts. No profiles. No email lists. No ad targeting. No selling data to anyone, ever.

The contact information you enter on your first pickup order (name, phone, email) is required by the retailer to place the order, and is stored on your device for autofill on future orders. For mail orders, Fujifilm collects shipping and payment information directly — we never see it. We don't process payments — the retailer is the merchant of record for pickup, and Fujifilm is the merchant of record for mail.

We're a photo printing service. Your memories are yours. We just help you get them off your phone and onto paper.

1. Who we are

Tap & Print is a mobile application operated by TAP AND PRINT LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. The app lets you select photos on your phone and order printed copies for same-day pickup at participating retail photo centers, or shipped by mail through a fulfillment partner. Walgreens is our launch pickup partner; Fujifilm is our launch mail partner. Additional fulfillment options may be added as their integrations come online.

2. What information we collect

Photos you choose to print

When you add photos to your print queue, those images are temporarily uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Microsoft Azure Blob Storage) to prepare your order. We store them briefly and delete them automatically — see Section 4 for the exact timeline.

For mail orders fulfilled by Fujifilm, we send Fujifilm a temporary, time-limited HTTPS link to each photo (a signed Azure SAS URL) when you confirm the order. Fujifilm fetches the photos directly from our storage to print them. Fujifilm does not receive your photos through our servers as a separate upload — the link grants short-term read access only and expires after the order is fulfilled.

Your contact information (on first pickup order)

When you place your first pickup order, we collect your first name, last name, phone number, and email address. These fields are required by our retail partners to place an order on your behalf, send you pickup-ready notifications, and identify you at the photo counter when you arrive. Your contact information is stored on your device for autofill on future orders. We transmit it to the specific retailer you select, as the merchant of record for that order.

Mail-order shipping and contact information (collected by Fujifilm, not us)

When you place a mail order, Fujifilm collects your shipping address, contact information, and payment details directly through their in-app checkout flow. Tap & Print does not see or store your shipping address, payment card, or any contact information you provide to Fujifilm. Fujifilm is the merchant of record for mail orders. Their handling of your information is governed by Fujifilm's own privacy policy, available through the Fujifilm checkout interface.

Pickup person contact information (when sending to someone else)

If you choose “Sending to someone else” at checkout to have someone else pick up the prints, we additionally collect that person's first name, last name, and phone number, and optionally their email address. We transmit this information to the retailer you select so they can place the order under that person's name and notify them by text when prints are ready.

You confirm at checkout that you have permission to share this person's contact information with the retailer for this purpose. The pickup person is not enrolled in any Tap & Print account, mailing list, or marketing communication. Their phone number is used solely by the retailer to notify them about this specific order, and their information is retained on the same timeline as your own order data (see Section 4).

Device session token

We generate a random identifier when you first open the app and store it on your device. This lets us associate your photo queue with your device without requiring a login or user account. It contains no personal information.

Approximate location (optional)

If you allow location access, we use it to show nearby print locations. We do not store your location on our servers. Location access can be denied without affecting core app functionality — you can search by address or zip instead.

Smart Pick photo analysis

If you use the Best Smile feature, your photos are analyzed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. This analysis never leaves your phone and is never uploaded to our servers.

Payment information

We never see, store, or handle your payment card details, regardless of how you order. For pickup orders the selected retailer is the merchant of record — you pay them directly through their checkout, and your payment details are handled entirely by the retailer and their payment processor. For mail orders Fujifilm is the merchant of record — payment is handled inside Fujifilm's checkout flow by Fujifilm and their payment processors. No card data ever touches our systems for either path.

Basic usage data

We collect minimal technical information to operate the service: app version, operating system version, and error logs. This data contains no personal information and is used only for technical troubleshooting.

3. What we do not collect

This list is not fine print — it's the whole point of how we designed this app. We could have built an account system, collected emails for marketing, and processed your payments ourselves. We chose not to. Here's what we don't have and don't want:

4. How long we keep your data

Photos

Automatically deleted on the earliest of:

Contact information (name, phone, email)

Retained in association with your session and your order history. You may delete your local copy at any time by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of your contact information from our backend, email privacy@tapandprint.com.

Pickup person contact information (third-party pickup)

When you place an order on someone else's behalf, the pickup person's name, phone, and optional email follow the same retention timeline as the rest of that order. We do not store this information beyond the order that used it — it is not added to your contact autofill, not associated with any other order, and not retained for marketing.

Session tokens

Expire 90 days after your last activity. Deleting the app from your device removes the token immediately from your device; the server-side session expires on its own schedule.

Order records

Order ID, retailer, store, timestamp, and order summary are retained for up to 7 years for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. These records do not contain photos or payment card information.

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We are not in the data business. We are in the photo printing business. Our revenue comes from retailer affiliate commissions and mail-order partner commissions on completed orders — not from your data.

5. How we share your information

We share minimal data with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the service:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Our revenue comes from retailer affiliate commissions and mail-order partner commissions on completed orders — not from your data.

6. Photo library access

Tap & Print requests access to your photo library so you can select photos to add to your print queue. We access only the photos you explicitly select — we do not scan, analyze, or access any other photos on your device. Photo library access can be modified at any time in your device Settings.

7. Children's privacy

Tap & Print is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@tapandprint.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your rights (California and other US residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). Given our minimal data collection, most of these rights are automatically satisfied by design.

To exercise any privacy rights, contact privacy@tapandprint.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Data security

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, if changes are material, notify you via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
